There is a website call http://www.copart.com if you contact them they can guide you. It’s not as easy to make money as you might think. It is work, don’t get into it looking to make a fast buck.
i mechanic for a living,and own a shop i went and got my dealers license because i sell a few once in a while,,its fairly easy to get the license,but there’s not that much profit to be made when you first start off, i live in Tennessee also and the insurance is expensive,you also need a building,and a certain sized lot to operate from also,,my first year i spent over 10 grand getting set up,and probably only made around 6 grand from selling cars,you can go to the court house and they can give a business license form to fill out,and then you mail it off ,wait till they contact you,then you have to show proof of a building and lot,i sell out of my other business,and i barely got by like that too,but if you want to do it,,you can make a little money at it,but buy the time you buy a car ,and fix it to sell you,ll find there’s not a lot of money to be made,but you can earn a living from it,,good luck at it.hope this help,s.,happy new years.
